MID-TERM performance

The mid-term performance is a skit based on the following areas: Possible situations: (1) You are meeting a person (from a similar age or different) from a Spanish-speaking country (the one you are presenting about in this course). One at least needs to come from another country or US region (such as Texas, or be a heritage Spanish speaker); (2) You are two friends who see each other again and have a quick conversation on family, university, and pastimes (topics from SPN 101). Place: The place can be at the university, campus, over the phone, a party. It is connected to the situation you choose. Students will be evaluated in their creativity, body movements and voice variations, and power and clarity of their pronunciation. Please use the grammar used so far in the course and SPN 101. You may use some notes for your skit to help you speak with more confidence. Please see the FINAL INTERVIEW Guidelines for some possible questions (first section). Focus this mid-term performance in using sentences in the PRESENT TENSE. The mid-term performance will help you to get ready for your final performance which will deal around topics about your past and future. The models below come from SPN 101 Final Skits.
