1. Estados Unidos
22% of the Hispanics/Latinos in the USA are English/Spanish bilinguals.
Hispanics/Latinos are the second largest ethnic group making up 16.7%  of the US population.

2. República Dominicana
25% of people are living beneath the poverty line
The president of the Dominican Republic is both the Head of State and the Head of Government, and is Commander in Chief of the armed forces.

3. Costa Rica
Education is mandatory with 96% literacy rate.
Very safe and known as "Switzerland of Central America."

4. Nicaragua
Nicaragua had the first elected woman president of any Central America country
Home to the world’s only "Dual Volcano"

5. Panamá
85% of Panama citizens are Catholic.
The Panama Canal is one of the most strategic water ways in the world.

6. Cuba
The national literacy rate is almost universal at about 99.8 % ranks top 10 in the world.
Cuba was the last major Spanish colony to gain independence. On May 20, 1902 U.S. granted Cuba independence.

Former leader was found guilty of genocide. He was involved in over 200,000 people being killed.

Literacy rate is 85 %
